Angela_Bassett
Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15, 1961) is an American actress. She has been recognized for her TV and film performances since the early 1980s. The awards she has won comprise the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was born in New York New York and raised by an aunt living in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett along with her sister at the age of five old, made the move out of New York and into St. Petersburg to live with the mother of their separated father. Bassett was inspired to become an actress after seeing the production Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. The year was 1980 and Bassett completed her studies at Yale University New Haven Connecticut with an undergraduate degree in African American studies. She was also awarded a degree by The Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale, and in 1997 they got married. Qualification: B.A. Master of Arts (Afro-American study) in 1980. A Master of Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her main characters, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
